Glorious Goodwood (officially the Qatar Goodwood Festival) is one of the highlights of the British Flat racing season, held annually at Goodwood Racecourse near Chichester, West Sussex. It combines top-class racing with a renowned social atmosphere and fashion, earning its nickname as "Glorious Goodwood."
The five-day festival typically features:
Tuesday – Goodwood Cup (Group 1)
Wednesday – Sussex Stakes (Group 1), often called the "Mile of the Year"
Thursday (Ladies' Day) – Nassau Stakes (Group 1) and the Markel Magnolia Cup charity race
Friday – Competitive supporting races and social events
Saturday – The historic Stewards' Cup, one of Britain's premier sprint handicaps
